Ed’s verdict
I ordered the Marama MP9 because I love how the MP9 feels in the hand, and out of the box this thing feels really good. The stock is solid and super comfortable, the grip angle is really comfortable, and it's so light without being front heavy. I don't like the trigger at all — it's got tons of travel and a mushy push — and the charging handle feels very cheap. It cost me around $400 plus a tariff, and I'm excited to actually play with it next week.

Problems he hit
Charging handle feels very cheap and moves around loosely · 07:33
Included suppressor would not tighten/lock down easily during install; Ed plans to thread-lock it · 10:15
Hop-up adjuster sits where the optic mounts, so the sight must be moved to adjust hop · 16:42
Out of the box
~$400 USD (Ed's estimate, plus import tariff)Price quoted
Unboxing only; no chrono or live-fire testing of the MP9. Comes with suppressor and VFC-style speed loader; ships with orange muzzle cover for US market.
Caveats
- Unboxing only; no chrono, accuracy, or gameplay testing of the MP9 in this video
- Power source never explicitly stated; MP9, SPC9 Pro and KWA MP9 treated as gas blowback since they share the same gas magazines
- ~$400 price is Ed's recollection, and he also paid a US import tariff
- Aftermarket trigger and charging-handle fitment complaints are second-hand from Jagger Precision videos, not Ed's own experience
- Positive gameplay comments (satisfying eliminations, great CQB replica) refer to the SPC9 Pro, not the MP9
- KS1 brand not stated in the transcript
