Method

The Badger Index is a database of airsoft replicas as Ed found them out of the box, with his rating out of 10 and the exact moments on camera that back it up.

Two numbers, kept apart

Ed’s verdict is one person’s first-hand opinion from actually unboxing, chrono-ing and using the replica. It is never inferred from a sibling model, never averaged, and never sold. Where Ed didn’t give a number on camera the page says so until he adds one.

The Badger Score (coming) will be a crowd-weighted 1–10 aggregated from other creators’ reviews, Reddit and retailer ratings. Hands-on tests with measurements count more than unboxings; undisclosed sponsorships count less; every source is linked, never copied.

Evidence, not vibes

Each aspect score links to the timestamp where Ed said it. Problems he hit are listed with the clip. Out-of-the-box numbers (FPS, joules, mags per fill, price) are what he measured or quoted in that video, nothing more.

What is listed

Version one covers replicas Ed has reviewed, unboxed or tested on the 6mm Badger channel, out of the box. Accessories, builds, reactions to other creators and gameplay are not verdicts and are left out. Next: every replica currently on the market (crowd-only until Ed tests it), then every replica ever made, with versions on each page.

Access

Product pages are open to everyone and always will be. Search and comparison tools will be metered for non-members; YouTube channel members get unlimited access; a Badger subscription adds the deep layer. Scores are not for sale, and a manufacturer cannot pay to be listed, rated or removed.

Corrections

Spotted a wrong name, a merged product that should be two, or a missing replica? Tell Ed in the Discord or on the video. Names in the index come from what was said on camera and are cleaned by hand.
