Ed’s verdict
I said I'd never have bought this myself, but the Tokyo Marui M45A1 passed with flying colors. The chrono consistency was stupidly good, varying only about 5 FPS across the string on 0.25g BBs with 110 PSI gas. At $219 it's a lot for a polymer gas blowback, and the mag did weep slightly after two years sitting dry, though a valve key and lube fixed it. If you're running a retro-style loadout this is a very cool pistol, but I'll probably give it away since I can't see myself using it.

Chronoed ~255 FPS avg on 0.25g with Swiss Arms 110 PSI gas; Ed guesses 300-320 FPS on 150-170 PSI gas; listing claims 270-300 FPS; polymer slide designed for lower FPS/duster gas.
Caveats
- FPS measured with 110 PSI gas, not full-power green gas; Ed's 300-320 FPS estimate is his own guess
- fps_spread of 5 is Ed's verbal approximation; recorded shots ranged 259.9 down to 250.1
- No accuracy or range testing beyond point-blank target shots
- Price is the US evike listing Ed quoted
- Scores inferred from Ed's statements; he gave no numeric scores himself
